I got these to replace the cheap plastic pins on a Epiphone acoustic. Installing them was no problem, just the same as if you were changing stings but with the addition of changing the pins. I will say one thing. The resaon I got these was because the original pins wouldn't keep the strings in plaace anymore. I thought upgrading the pins would solve this, but turns out the problem was in the holes of the bridge being worn out. If you, like me, thought that new pins is the answer to this, then you might want to check the state of your bridge first.
As for the quality of these pins, they look and feel very classy. I can't say if they improved the tone or the sustain of the guitar, but it probably did to some extent.
All in all a nice, inexpensive upgrade. I would reccomend this product.

Hade förväntat mig större skillnad

Jag har experimenterat med olika strängstift och beställde hem i några olika material och att testa strängstift i metall var något jag såg fram emot, hade googlat och läst på att skillnaden kunde bli påtaglig. I min parlourgitarr blev skillnaden dock inte så stor alls, men de håller och han hanteras hårdhänt.

An interesting upgrade

Fit perfectly into my Harley Benton acoustic.
There is a clearly metallic ring to the tone now - I can't say it's good or bad - it's a bit different, I should say.
The tone is clearly improved - it rings out better and the sag is just lovely. The sag of the resonance almost makes my 80euro acoustic sing like a Taylor 614 I used to own.
But I'm not too fond of the attack - there's a metallic ring to it now, and it could be the fresh set of strings that make it very pronounced at the moment. Hopefully it will smooth out when the strings age a little.

At first I thought it was a hype, but at least my tone really changed!

Watched some videos on Youtube about the brass pins and although I was a bit sceptical, I still decided to pull the trigger. I put them on my Sigma tm/12, which is basically a copy of Little Martin and in addition to making the sound a bit louder, they indeed made the tone brighter as well! Some may say that making such a small guitar even brighter sounding is a really bad idea, but I personally like the resulting boxy and bluesy sound of it. The only problem I have is getting them out of my guitar to change the strings.
