I installed this in my Squier Mustang HH as part of a pickup swap and rewiring job. Because the two pickups I installed are quite different - Seymour Duncan Phat Cat (P90) and Seymour Duncan Invader (High-output humbucker), I wanted a way to control them individually and retain a usable middle position. I also added coil splitting to the bridge humbucker and found myself using mostly that for the middle position as it balances rather well. An added bonus is that if I use a single pickup and turn the opposite pickup's volume to 0, my pickup selector becomes a killswitch.
The stacked pots are full-sized and they feel nice and sturdy. Rotation is smooth and the logarithmic taper gives a more natural-sounding change in volume. Fitting the part to my control plate was straight-forward - no wobble and no need to enlarge the opening. Don't expect to find too many options for the knobs though. Luckily Thomann has you covered and I found a pair that fits the aesthetics of my guitar.
Overall I am really satisfied with the upgrade and the tonal versitility it adds + you get two pots for (almost) the space of one.
