A dedicated bag

I bought this bag for the Yamaha Reface YC.

And it fits perfect for the unit, the wall wart, midicables and a stereocable. Just as expected.

The build quality seems strong. It’s light and is marginally larger than the YC itself. It’s not touring quality, but I don’t think one can have such expectations on a soft-case.

If you need a simple, protective bag that will carry your Reface in between rehearsals and the occasional gig this is a safe buy.

Fantastic Soft Bag for your Reface.

Great bag with many ways to carry it. Although Yamaha advertises that it can be carried like a backpack, they only include one strap, so you would have to buy another one to do so. Straight out of the box you can either use the carrying handle, or the strap and use it as a messenger bag, or slide it over larger luggage.

It contains a few compartments on the inside, instead of a pocket on the front. They have little velcro straps to secure the items inside. These things are fantastic, as they fit the AC adapter, spare batteries, a pair of in-ear headphones, the MIDI break-out cable and a Yamaha FC-5 sustain pedal with relative ease. The instrument itself fits snuggly inside and doesn't move around. The bag also doubles as a place to put your instrument and all the accessories when not playing it, and it takes up very little space. I usually tie an instrument cable around the flap on the back, since the compartments are full of other things.

I would give it 5/5 on everything if they had included a second strap. There's just very little wrong with this item.

Good addition to the Reface series

Considering that it is a bag that is included once you buy one of the yamaha reface series synthesisers, it does do it's job very well. It's not a high end bag that will protect the keybord from anything, but it will allow for easy transportation and I must admit that all the available spacing inside is welcomed. Overall, it is a nice and welcoming addition to the reface series. If you are touring a lot, however, I would recomend a case from Thon. Otherwise, if you use it mainly for domestic use, then it performs as brilliantly as you would expect.
