This box is made from thick plywood, 11 layers if I count properly, which may sound like a redundant point, but that is good stuff. It also makes it so the box can be cut and modified if necessary without worrying about losing structural integrity, which is something I had to do for my intended purpose.
The mounting points are sunk in a few centimeters from the edge and are also protected by the handlebars, meaning you won't accidentally smack a knob or button off whenever you move the thing. Big plus.
Having the mounting bars filled with hex nuts is... Sufficient to mount things where you need them, but it is a little bit hacky and ugly. I would have preferred some form of a grid that was easier to line up with the holes of a unit, similar to what the Millenium Steel Boxes do, but preferably less flimsy.
This box is quite heavy. But that is to be expected.
I recommend this item, with the caveat that it is perhaps a bit pricey for what ultimately is a very simple wooden box and some hex nuts. But it is sturdy, it is made from good materials and it does the job.
