I bought this case out of fear that the Thon Small Case would not be big enough to hold all my guitar effect pedals. but in hindsight i really should have measured out how big this medium case really was. I have previously used a Palmer Palmer Pedalbay 60 and the Thon case is a towering giant compared to that board. So be wary about the size before you purchase!
However, for how big the case is, it is of quite high quality. It feels very sturdy and won't bend or falter under a bunch of other gear crammed into the back of a car.
The locks feel solid and snappy enough.
My problem with the case as far as quality goes is the "velcro mounting area". the quality of the cloth itself is not great, and you often have to jimmy the pedals into place in order for the velcro to sit properly. when you remove the pedals the velcro from the pedals often rips strands of the cloth out from the base of the mounting area. You can still mount pedals to the surface, but it looks messy and feels quite low quality.
Overall, for the price it's a quality product that will go the distance, however you should only consider buying this if you know that you need the extra capacity of this huge, HUGE board.
