Thomann Wind Gong 55

Bought it on a whim and I'm very happy with it. It doesn't have the tonal sound of many gongs but instead it has a broad more noise like sound. I really like this sound and it was exactly what I was looking for!
It's easy to build sweels and dynamics. You can hit it lightly and control it but also build up to big crescendos with multiple hits and it blends the hits really well.
For a wind gong my general advice is to buy one as large as you can afford, but between 50cm - 60cm seems to be a sweet spot where you get a lot of the large gong sound without braking the bank...
