Just plain cables, nothing fancy. It works and that is the important part.
Some say it is a bit thick, and it gets in the way of patching. I however don't see that as a problem since I almost alway end up using all my cables. The end result is that it looks like someone poured a bowl of spagetti on my rig. ;-)

But you can't beat the price.
Added bonus, if you buy a lot of these you can start to color coordinate your patches, by using the same standard as Patch & tweak. It super handy.

Had no hum or anything with these cables.

Not for CV/Gate kind though, just mono patch cables.

They work good in a home studio

good stiffness/flexibility compromise. Great build quality, clear signals. No problems whatsoever. Good value for money.
