Nice protective case

The pocket operators feel quite fragile without any protection around them. Even if they are quite sturdy on their own, having a protective casing around it allows you to carry it around in your bag without worrying as much.

The casing can be a little difficult to fit onto the PO, but it's made out of a flexible material so you'll get it on there eventually.

The pictures on the buttons don't explain their functions as well as the text under the buttons on the PO does, so it took some time for me to get used to the new look.

It seems that this case completes the POs and makes them look much more proper and safe. As if the initial POs are somehow half and this really makes them complete.
I have seen far too many cases for these little machines but the TE CA-X ones are definitely the best looking ones.
Only for proper Operators!

An ambiguous protection

Installing this protection on your pocket operator (PO) is an ambiguous experience. Not in the last because you need to remove the hinge from the PCB, which can mess up your board when not done appropriately. next to that, although meant to be removed by teenage engineering, the PO with the hinge has an own style... The protection could be cut on the top part to slide the hinge through, I did not do that, and I would guess it is not so easy to cut the good quality rubber.
The biggest plus I would call the somewhat more protection on the battery compartment (battery poles are covered).
The biggest minus is that the PCB screening is covered, which is normally different for each PO, and thus the functions must be remembered. Next to that the cover does offer slight, but not much protection for the PO display.
