Tama is indeed a very serious name in drums!

Tama's Tiny snare is perfect for those who want to turn the snares down and use it as a small rata tom! Its a two in one and very easy to add to any kit wherever you go. The tone is perfect with the factory head. Just unbox it.

STORY TIME: I ordered this to Athens literally less than 72 hours before my flight back for my brothers birthday gift and I got it in Time to pack it! You gotta love Thomann!

Very loud and effective Snare drum for modern music applications with an expensive twist

Very nice sounding, very responsive and easy to tune snare drum. Didn't plan on writing a review, but at the moment I must inform, that, if You're playing it more that a couple of hits per concert, You're gonna have to change the wires CONSTANTLY... There is no possibility to buy them spare and I had to make them myself (cutting 10" snare drum wires in half down the middle). Once I got tired of that, I've reached out for spare part thru Thomann and these fragile low quality snare wires cost around 28 euros a piece... High end 14" Professional Snare Drum wires cost 33 euros, for example, so basically, if You're playing this snare all year - You'd need like 4-6 pieces of these wires, which will come way above the price of the snare drum itself. I am not sure, why that's the case, but anyway... Though You should know.

Pros:
Comes with a mount and it is easy to use
Has nice crackle and is very loud with the rimshot
Nice finish

Cons:
Fragile and expensive to replace snare wires (snares are literally breaking of one by one very fast)

Very fun

I was hesitant to buy this but once I did, no regrets!
The fun is in the possibility of different tuning according to your needs. It's nice and heavy and feels good when on a stand, the best thing is it comes with a clamp that is of great quality so it's playable out of the box.
Great second snare or if you need a simple portable snare

Jau, sehr geile 8er Snare für Drum&Bass-Geschichten oder auch etwas exotischere Beats, ohne Teppich hat sie eine dezente Timbale-Nuance im -allerdings aufgrund der Größe dann etwas hochgepitchten- Sound, mit Teppich neben D&B auch einen sehr marching-lastigen Charakter im Klang. Hoffe das Fell hält nu auch ein Weilchen und ansonsten hab ich aber an der Qualität momentan sowieso nix zu meckern. Kleiner Bonus ist halt auch gleich noch die ultra-flexible Multiklammer inklusive! Fazit: Jo! Jo-er! AM JO-STEN!!! XD
