On the way to an optimal cymbal sound, a special Paiste sound alloy from patented bronze was developed for the signature series. The result are instruments that have been gaining recognition since their introduction in 1989, and have proven themselves both in the studio and life. The sound has a high expressive power and can be described as filigree, transparent, musical, emotional and colourful.
The Thin China Signature line offers a dark, full and "trashy" sound. Very explosive at the first attack, followed by a soft, fast sustain. Well suited for the lower volume range.

På vägen mot ett optimalt cymballjud utvecklades en speciell Paiste-ljudlegering från patenterad brons för signaturserien. Resultatet är instrument som har vunnit erkännande sedan de introducerades 1989, och som har bevisat sig själva både i studion och i livet. Ljudet har en hög uttryckskraft och kan beskrivas som filigran, transparent, musikaliskt, emotionellt och färgstarkt.
Thin China Signature-linjen erbjuder ett mörkt, fylligt och "trashy" ljud. Mycket explosivt vid den första attacken, följt av en mjuk, snabb sustain. Väl lämpad för det lägre volymområdet.
