Bought this one primarily to use with my mobile writing setup as I am using an android tablet with Cubasis where latency is still an issue. The Mp-2 gives great guitar sounds straight away which allows me to both skip the rather CPU hungry amp plugins, use direct monitoring to avoid the latency issue, AND in THE end get a better result soundwise. Controlling it with a mobile phone or a tablet is a breeze. One has to be careful with the volume, through, especially with bass guitar, or there will be a nasty digital distortion. On some of the amps I would have wished for more EQ controls (some of them only have a tone control) but other than that the quality of the sound coming out of this thing is really quite surprisingly good. The FX sounds leave little to be desired too, and the ease with which you set up a chain with a mobile unit lets you quickly get what you're after before loosing whatever idea might have popped up in your head. This thing exceeded my expectations by miles. As a practice amp it is simply brilliant. None of the other headphone amps in this format that I've tried can even begin to compare.
