Korg Monologue Silver

I'd never even tested an analogue synth before buying this piece of equipment. I thought to myself that it's most likely going to gather dust on my shelf after a while when I'm bored with it.

My word I was wrong.

The Monologue is so much more than it looks. I started experimenting with it, I had no experience prior to using a real analogue synth but it was really easy dialing in the sounds that I wanted! After that, no problem with understanding the parameters since it's so hands on controls. You want to set the cutoff? No problem, it's right there. LFO frequency? No problem.

No need for menu diving or clicking with a mouse, it's all there.

It's my main synth for cool sequenced melodies or bass runs. It's so inspirational sometimes I just find myself creating fun drum rhythms or melody lines for hours. It's simply that fun to use!

When outside a DAW I'm using it together with the Line 6 Helix pedal board and it's a beautiful combo! Sometimes sequencing it together with my Novation Circuit for easy song building.

I cannot recommend this synth enough!
