Great for K&M Spider keyboards with 19742

I purchased this in combination with K&M 19742, a universal tablet holder for use on my K&M Spider pro keyboard stand, though can also be used on Spider or Baby Spider pro stands. The universal holder is honestly built like a tank. I think it will probably outlast the Spider pro! It connects into the grooves which allow the keyboard arms to continuously adjust for height, meaning you have virtually unlimited range of height adjustment for the universal holder. Paired with the universal tablet holder, you can use a tablet to control parameters of your keyboards, display setlists, sheet music or chord notations. I've used this combination for two years and over 25 gigs and its always worked very well for me. K&M might be slightly more expensive than other keyboard stand manufacturers, but you get some great accessories, superb build quality and over the years this makes for great value for money. As always the service from Thomann has been brilliant, responding quickly to any queries, delivering on time and with great packaging of my purchases. Their 3 year warranty is also greatly appreciated, but with K&M build, it's not really required!

A good holder with a single drawback

The holder clamps onto the stand perfectly, offering a firm and stable grip. I am using this with the K&M 19742 Tablet Holder and there is only one single shortcoming on the handle/screw end where the tablet holder mounts - the horizontal grip is quite loose. No matter how much you tighten the handle, screwing on the tablet holder, the resulting nut&bolt construct spins too loosely around the Y axis. This results in the tablet holder tilting left or right every time you push with your finger onto the tablet off-center. This forces you to use the tablet super lightly or to hold the tablet holder with your other hand to prevent it from spinning uncontrollably. An additional rubber washer (or a pair) or something similar might solve this issue, still have to check that. But other than that - quality made, no compatibility issues or mounting/clamping problems thus far.

Amazing part of the Spider Pro “stand system”

Rock solid!

Attaches and locks to the outer rails of the Spider Pro. 3/8” or 5/8” threaded bolt holds your favorite gear. I use 1 to hold my Waldorf Blofeld synth and another to hold an iPad with a K&M tablet holder.

Buena calidad. Firme y versátil

Material y acabados de buena calidad. Se ancla firmemente con una sola palanca, con lo que se hace sin herramientas y muy rápidamente, igual que el desanclado. Una vez apretada la palanca del cierre, queda muy bien asegurado al eje central del Spider.

Trae rosca de 3/8 y adaptador de 5/8 con lo que ni hay ningún problema para conectar lo que se quiera: en mi caso el soporte de tablet de K&M 19790, pero puede usarse para cualquier otro accesorio, y dejar libre el enganche de la parte superior del Spider para usarlo con un micrófono.
