Very good product

This is almost a must when you bring your tenor/alto-saxophone to gigs/rehearsals. You never know whats the local/situation youre coming to.
Even so, it`s used at home as well.
It is a very reliable, extremely easy to mount/dismount (done in seconds) and you keep it inside the instrument, so no extra space needed. It fits my tenor perfectly.
It includes a nice bag made of cloth when kept in the instrument.
I absolutely recomend the version that is called "jazz".
No doubt worth the small extra cost to protect the instrument!

Don't trust this stand

I've recently bought this stand and I've used it only 3 or 4 times. I've always been very careful because it doesn't look very stable, but I trusted in it because it is supposed to be a quality stand. Today, the last time that I've used it, it has fallen out with the sax. I think that the upper part of my sax is damaged because it doesn't sound good now ... and it is a good sax, quite expensive. Please, don't put your sax in risk using this stand. I'm very mad at this moment. Take care.

Great when portability is key

This is fantastically light and well designed - when you have no space for a stand anywhere else, ie when flying with your instrument this is perfect. It weight very little and the provided bag is soft enough not to scratch the inside of your bell, but is also going to last.

That said, I would still choose my bulkier Hercules stand when I have the room to take it, if there's any risk at all of someone knocking into my sax - ie if i'm on a small, busy stage or in a recording studio where there's going to be a lot of movement.

What's not to like

This is really handy - fits in the bell of the tenor, robust support for a heavy and a well made - strong, pretty well unbreakable. The design / look is cool and understated. Highly recommended.
