Istanbul Agop Traditional Pap.Thin Crash 16"

I bought this for a smaller club-jam kit I play at smaller venues, parties etc where there is usually no drum mics involved, or perhaps just a mic for the bass drum.

Previously I used a 14” paper thin sabian HH crash but wanted a little more cymbal but not more volume.

This cymbal is perfect and sounds fantastic for this purpose. Silky smooth, opens up easy. A real classic cymbal sound that just works in every genre. Not too loud. Very thin which I like. The 14” Sabian HH paper thin, in comparison, feels more like a ”regular” thin or even medium cymbal.

It is paired with a 19” turk crash/ride and 13” turk-style dark hats. Perfect for small size low volume kit.

Gets me thinking of buying more of these agop paper thin crashes.
