This guitar has one of the ugliest looking headstocks that I've ever seen. A slab of white plastic covers the wood. Except for that it is a nice instrument, good finish all over, the chromed body is lovely. The tone was a bit thin, so i modified the guitar: Made a new bridge out of beech and made a soft bed for the aluminum cone out of silicone gasket, the type normally used for sealing windows. The silicone allows the cone to move, the bass gets stronger and the tone is softer. I use it to play slide, using flatwound strings and a thick brass pipe. A funny instrument that sounds good and the looks make it a good conversation piece.
