I bought this little amp for home practice and I mostly play metal stuff.
It really broke my heart.
Its a really great sounding amp. But not on all the channels “presets”
So here are my thoughts after playing on it for a week and trying out all the channels and trying to tweak the tone knob to get a good sound.
•Clean channels 10/10 omg they sound amazing, with a little delay or reverb and it sounds even better.
•tube screamer channel: 2/10 its just meh
•blues: 8/10 sounds good
Crunch: 5/10 not good. Not good sounds shallow and distant not full.
•Lead: 10/10 sounds full and great for soloing
•Rhythm: 5/10 again, it sounds shallow, distant and not good. Its really weird, like the amp is capable of sounding full. But I don’t know why these channels don’t.
•metal 6/10 same as the rhythm channel. It doesn’t sound full.
Now the effects
•Delay: 100/10 omg its great.
•Reverb: 100/10 just fabulous
• other effects: didn’t try them so I can’t really say
The drum beats were good too
So in conclusion, if you looking for an amp to play clean on. THIS IS THE ONE
Or if you don’t really care if it sounds full or not then go for it. Really great amp that had potential. Only if the metal channel sounded good it would have been a killer amp!
