I got these for my Legator G7FP, there aren't that many out of the box alternatives for multiscale guitars (bar magnets means you don't mess upp pole piece distances when angling the pickup). My original plan was to get Moderns but after some research I landed on Abasi's, mostly for the single coil modes.
The installation was a bit of a hassle. Soldering the - not included - 5x4 switch correctly took two tries for me. You should probably consider getting someone to install them for you.
Once installed they sound great, there are plenty of sound examples online to listen to. What you can't hear is that voice1 makes noise control really easy, maybe it's the mid focused sound profile? Whatever it is it's more than just noiseless active pickups. This voice shines with high gain.
Voice2 is similar to 1 but I use it sometimes for clean/crunch tones.
Voice3 has the single coil sounds, they are marketed as "true" single coil sounds but I find them halfway between split coil and actual single coil. Voice3 is great for percussive attack for selective picking and tapping or just regular cleans. It does single coil things, with a tone that suits modern stuff.
The main downside is that they drain the battery way faster than EMGs.
Over all I'm really happy with the pickups, they are absolutely awesome for metal and got some versatility to them as well.
