This is no doubt a high quality brass nut that should only need final adjustments. However, do read the specs before you buy. I was under the impression it was a "standard" nut width, but 41 mm is really only found on vintage (pre-80s) instruments and is not really desirable anyway as you'll have less fret real estate to work with on the first E-string. The nut width on all my intended recipient guitars turned out to be slightly larger than 42mm, which will leave small indents on each side of the nut if this 41 mm nut is installed. String spacing is however exactly right, so it is mostly an aesthetical problem. This nut should be offered at different widths, or at 42 mm, which can be filed down to 41 for those who need it.
