Ernie Ball 052 Single String Wound Set

I use these singles to replace the 46 of a std set on my hard tail equipped guitars (Gibson).
I play exclusively in Drop D, and replacing the 46 with a 52 provides perfect tension, compensating for the detuning.
I bought these strings to check them out and to compare them against the ones I currently use from another brand. The main reason being that the combined price of the single plus the standard set, also from EB, is considerably cheaper. It's also more convenient since they can be purchased in a pack of 6 instead of individually.
After a few months, I can say that they're quite good. They're bright, clear and endure heavy use and abuse without breaking or any other issues.
To be completely honest, I think that the other brand I use is still a tiny-winy bit better sounding and durability wise, but if like me, you tend to change strings often, the price difference tilts the balance this way.
I'm happy with these, and completely recommend them!

Ideal für Leute der aggressiveren Spielweise, bei denen sich die tieferen Saiten früher verabschieden als der Rest.
Hatte immer das Problem, dass die tiefe E Saite früher das zeitliche segnete als die anderen Saiten. Da ich es persönlich als Verschwendung ansehe die hohen Saiten zu tauschen, obwohl diese noch gut sind, habe ich mir die Einzelsaiten von Ernie Ball, passend zum Satz 2215, gekauft.
Qualität ist wie gewohnt von Ernie Ball gut.
