The Pulsar is a highly versatile tremolo with many different controls that allow you to dial in all sorts of tones, from a slow and sublte warble to a hard and fast chop. It's of much higher quality than you'd except from the low price tag and is a good pedal for those who want to cover a lot of ground or who just like to play around with different sounds.
Unfortunately the controls are a bit finicky, which makes it difficult to dial in sounds with a lot of precision. If you're like me and are very picky with the sound you want then this can end up being rather frustrating. Ultimately it's all down to personal preference. If you value versatiliy higher than anything else then the Pulsar is a good choice. If there's only one particular sound you want then you're probably better off spending a bit more money on something that does that one thing and does it really well.
