To me DR Hi-Beams are the golden standard that every other roundwound should be compared to. I tried a bunch of different string brands before stringing up a pack of Hi-Beams, and I've never strung anything else for the last 10 years and I refuse to buy anything else.

They feel great with both pick and fingers, and sounds amazing for a long time. In all the years I've played DR I've never had any issues, all the packs I've bought have been consistantly awesome.

Do yourself and your bass a favour, buy Hi-Beams

Long lasting warm sound for slap

I just love this strings, they are warm sounding, not too brights and have notice that they sound good for longer periods of time than other brands.
This are the ones that Marcus Miller used before they start putting his name on them.
