High quality cello bridge:
The medullary rays are straight and continuous (both at the side view and at the front view), the grain of the wood is dense and quite parallel to the line of the toe; hitting it the bridge emits a generally high note (compared to other bridges), which indicates a better performance. The seasoning of the wood seems excellent.
