I've been using these for a long time and wouldn't change to another brand or type ever if I can. They're long enough for a 35" bass and they're not coated in some sort of red textile or something else in the end like some other string are. Longevity seems to be good because I haven't ever had a string break so far.
Really good strings, like them a lot. I use them on a Warwick Streamer LX and find then really growly with loads of round bottom end and nice well defined mids. Really nice feeling on the fingers. They tend to lose sound after one month of usage.
I found these strings very good. Daddarios always have that bright and crisp tone and last longer than a lot of other roundwound strings. However I prefer a lighter gague of string (.045 to.130) so I find these perfect for downtuning a whole step while retaining the tension of a lighter gague at standard tuning. Also the fact they are nickel means they are easier on your frets and fingers, while retaining the higher tension of the nickel wound strings.
Kinda dissapointed with the flobbyness...the sound was great in the beginning but lost its high end sparkle very quickly...they get dirty easy too but for a jazz or rock musician who doesnt mind his own dead skin, they are good
