Made a multi cable of this cable that carried two balanced signals with common shield, 2x XLR to 2x XLR. I branched out at each end to two ordinary microphone cables (CMK 222) ending with a XLR connector. The soldered wires were reinforced at the branch with fiber tape, heat shrink tube and some careful reapplication of the ground shield braid.
The cable is a little on the unwieldy side when you try to roll it, so it requires some extra attention. But once it lays on the ground, it behaves like any other microphone cable.
A much sleeker cable alternative to dedicated multi cables with two pairs (like Cordial CMG 2)
