A friend in the band lended me an harmonica to play an intro for one song. It was 27 April 2023. I had never played before. I started playing and just couldn’t let go. After a couple of weeks of intensive playing I started to search for harmonicas of my own.
On 28 May, I got them. My Seydels! This great set and a chromatic Saxony in C major.
They are easy to play on. Sounds great! After four to five weeks of practicing I started to learn about bending. It came immediately.
By the end of June 2023, I had played 4 different songs in public. I am a singer, so for me it is a fantastic experience to get the sound and melody I want out from an instrument.
If I want to switch key? Well, then I just change harp :-) Each of the harps in the set has a very similar feeling. The Low D gives a nice variation and open up possibilities.
I can’t let go of my great Seydel Söhne harmonicas. Writing new solos, including them in more songs.
Get this set and enjoy!
