Very good effects pedal for vocalists

Bought this for busking and performing live in small clubs. For this purpose its optimal for its size and huge amount functionality.

The pedal has a good editor that allows you to create presets on your computer.

The pedal huge has a amount of functionality, and the editor software allows you tap into all of these features and to assign almost any functions to the nobs and buttons - this makes it incredibly versatile and allows you to create a preset that perfectly matches the functionality/effects you need for each song.

The things I don't like too much is the reverb sound, which is okay, but its not as good as really good reverbs.

It's possible to operate with a powerbank (I have the Harley Benton 10000mAh powerbank with 9V output) to make it batteryoperated.

I give it four stars as I really love the versatility, but the sound effects could be even a tad better.

Great product / Amazing

If you’re on the fence about the VE-500, I would recommend you get it.

Let me put it to you this way… My wife’s singing would hurt my ears and would even make the dog leave the room.

Once the VE-500 arrived and I set it up, I let her sing until she exhausted herself and left the studio. Her singing voice all of a sudden was not just bearable, it was incredible.

If this could make her sound like a pro, imagine what it could do for you.

I used the TC play acoustic and the play electric before this pedal. This pedal is a beast of a pedal. It does not have great documentation but if you are not scared of deep diving into it and adjusting parameters it will pay you dividends. It does not have a huge amount of presets like the TC but spend some time making them, you will have a unique sounding pedal suited to your voice and playing. You have control over every parameter and effect its very detailed and amazing. I use it in the studio aswell.
