What can be said of the Bach 3c other than it is the most popular of its kind for all round use. It has a rim less rounded to the outside compared with the 7c. The 3C gives a bright full projecting tone that cuts through any large ensemble. It is has an internal rim diameter and cup depth for a free and open blow.
good but I´m allergic to the brass underneath the silver

I was a beginner and wanted to try a new mouthpiece. Even though I've only been playing for half a year I liked the sound with this mouthpiece more than that of the schagerl 3c that was coming with my trumpet. Also it was easier for me to reach higher ranges with it. Unfortunately same as with the Schagerl also on this Bach with me cleaning it every day after playing parts of the silver coating got rubbed off in the cup. I asked a trumpet uni student and he told me that that is normal with mouthpieces and that his old mouthpieces he plays are very worn off inside. The problem is, that I get lip swelling from the base material of the mouthpiece thats underneath the silver. Very unfortunately because I really loved the sound of it. Luckily I found an acrylic mouthpiece here on thomann from Pickett Blackburn so I could continue my passion of practicing trumpet. I'm leaving this review so someone who is new to trumpet has a solution if the same happens to him or her.
