This is a rubber coated magnetic ring that holds any standard pencil in place. The magnet was surprisingly good, it stuck to my fridge, table lamp, microphone arm and could also carry heavier items such as scissors and tools around the house. (If it can be tested why not test?) If you don't know where to put your pencil buy this little thing, it'll defy gravity for you.

Den är jättebra att ha! Jag önskar bara att den passade på en vanlig stiftpenna.
you can call this a "hack", cause it definitely feels like it. never lose your pencils or have them rolling on the floor and disappearing forever.
Pros:
- the cylinder holds pencils quite tight. No risk of having pencils slighting off;
- the magnet in it is very strong, it doesn't fall off when you or someone else touches it by accident;
- it comes with a pencil, obviously ;)
Cons:
- it's very small, so it could get lost easily if it's not put on a pencil or attached to a metal surface;
I'd note that I have only used the cylinder with a round pencil, so i'm not sure if it will work with the edged pencils.

Are you a theatre musician, big bander or anything else that requires sheet music? You need it.
I got one of these accidentally before when a dep left it attached to my stand, and since have not gone anywhere without one. Just stick a pencil on your stand, forget about it, take the stand out and its ot a pencil always! (Because who doesn't forget their pencil often?!)
