Zaor Vision W

First off, I was very worried about getting this desk into my apartment on the 4th floor (with no elevator). The desk is pretty heavy but comes packaged well in multiple boxes with carry straps. I've struggled getting boxes half the weight up my stairs but due to the ergonomics of the packaging it was no hassle.

I've been using the desk daily for a few months now and overall I'm very happy with it. It seems sturdy but I do have some heavy rack gear + monitors on it and worry about the effects this load will have over time. If Zaor have specified a maximum load for the desk I have no been able to find it. I also do not feel that the material will mark or scratch easily which is good.

The desk does present some issues regarding monitor placement that I think might be good to consider before buying this desk. Though the desk can comfortably fit large speakers on the upper section you will be sitting very close to them when using the desk (~80cm). Some monitors have a minimum recommended listening distance of 1m. If I had realised this I might have gone with the smaller version of this desk and bought separate stands for my studio monitors. I don't current have the keyboard tray but plan on adding it soon - I'm hoping this will help with speaker positioning as it will cause me to sit slightly further back when mixing.
