Yamaha Recording Custom 14"x6,5" Alu

This snare is one of the most versatile Aluminium snares on the market. The Die Cast hoops dry up a lot of the overtones and the 6.5 depth give it tons of room if you want to go for deep/gushy snare sounds. Yet when you crank this up the crack and sharpness of the backbeat will keep any band moving. This is a super versatile instrument. Would highly recommend.

I don't know how, but it is very difficult to tune this drum in a bad way. It just keeps sounding good. Specially in low frequenties (difficult for other snare drums).
It's like you have a build in compressor... The drum strokes sound very consistently. It doesn't hurt your ears, even with heavy rim shots.
