These headphones are absolutely phenomenal. Especially considering the price tag it comes with.
However, these are categorized as studio headphones but I can't really say the sound in these is flat.
It's very heavy on the bass and therefore I can't really say they're ideal for mixing, but for listening to music they are a lot of fun!
They also come with the smartest cable solution I've ever seen on a pair of headphones. A male 3.5mm stereo plug sticks out of the left can so you don't have to worry about ripping your cable if you get up and try to walk away without realizing you're wearing headphones.
It also comes with two different lengths of cables. One that is slightly too short, and one that I find a bit too long. On top of that, the cable quality is garbage so I'd suggest you get yourself a nice, braided cable to go with these ones.
I can't really complain much about the pads. Out of the box, they are strapped with faux leather pads that tend to get a little warm after extended use. It should be noted that they also shipped with a pair of softer pads made with some sort of fabric. They seem nicer so I'm going to try them out soon, but as of now that's all I can say.
They also sit very comfortably on my head which makes them pleasant to use in longer sittings. I mean it, they sit very comfortably.
The overall build quality feels a bit plastic-y and they rattle a bit when you move them around so they feel kind of cheap to handle.
But all in all, I've paid twice as much as the asking price for these and gotten way worse headphones so all my complaints are kind of countered by that.
To sum it up. If you want a pair of semi-open headphones - These are a really nice pair of fun ones with lots of bass. Not suited for mixing at all, but very fun to listen to. Very comfortable to wear. Very affordable. Worth every penny.
Check out my review on the sibling headphones in the series, the Superlux HD-662 EVO if you're interested. It should be up in a few minutes!
Cheers!
