Stentor SR1108 Cello Student II 4/4

For an intermediate amateur cello player, produces a very nice sound. The bow is of good quality. The hue of the wood is darker than pictured. Came with the strings mounted onto the fine tuners and pegs. Well packaged for shipping. Only negative was that my fingers were going black from pressing on the fingerboard. Edit: Found the A string difficult to keep in tune. Would recommend.

Wonderful work for such a cheap instrument. Everything you need for a beginner! Nice craftsmanship and workable sound.

I choose this cello as my first because it covered what guides suggested to look out for (solid body and top, dark wood pegs, good fingerboard, well constructed, good sound), sits at a good price point for me. I'm really happy with the sound ^w^

Bought this cello for our very beginning students. The cello is made in right proportions, it is well-assembled, of right wood, with well-tuned top. The bag is better than we expected, the bow is quite ok.
The only 2 minor problems we found were strings and too thick bridge.
It is not a professional instrument, but it is quite good to start with.

Le violoncelle a besoin d'un petit nettoyage après le déballage, rien de grave, juste beaucoup de sciure. Il faut un autre jeu de corde que celles d'origine qui sont vraiment pas top.
