This follows the classic Rycote windjammer design. I have a 20-year old Windshield WS4 Kit that uses some similar design and materials and it is still working great with no little pieces or hooks breaking off.

A decent range of extra accessories are included such as a handle for use when it is hand-held or a smaller alternative attachment for when it is on a boom or stand.

I bought a pair of these and use them for AB omni recording with Sennheiser MKH8020s. I also use a single one with a cardioid MKH 8040 for capturing spot effects outdoors.

Easy to get mics in and out and to disassemble the windjammer.

May seem expensive but the quality is worth it.

Includes free hairbrush!
