Roland NE-1 Noise Eater

As someone who has yet to own my own house noise is quite a factor when drumming at home. Thus I felt it wise to invest in noise canceling technology. It’s important to point out that the NE-1 is not designed to reduce noise in the room itself but rather the thumps going downwards from your kick pedal and hi hat.

These things have a great build quality and feel very sturdy. Roland claims they reduce the noise by 75 %. This is very hard to measure I’d say but I do feel they make a difference and I don’t regret buying them.

The main negative is the price which feels like quite a lot. If it’s worth it is probably up to what living situation you have and how good your DIY build skills are.
