Rode NT1 5th Generation Black

Rode hit the jackpot when they decided to make this microphone! The quality of the legendary Rode NT1 and at the same time can be used as a USB microphone for example for writing demos or for streaming! This is genius! I can take it with me on the road and now I don't need an audio interface that takes up space and can get damaged.

I use this microphone for Zoom meetings via the USB cable connected to my MacBook. It works perfectly well, but you need to add acoustic treatment to your room to eliminate echo, because this is a condenser and it is pretty sensitive to noise, which is not a problem if the room was treated.

With integrated USB interfacing, 32-bit float support and impressive noise figures the latest NT1 delivers a fully featured upgrade on its predecessors and continues to be an excellent budget choice

This is one of the best microphones I have ever tried! The sound quality is just great. You know, RODE has its own spice. For me what is more convenient is the type-c connection. It makes the work so easy when I am on a minimal setup to just take my laptop and the mic and record anywhere with a studio high-quality sound! I do not regret it!

Great sound, quality and features.

This is one of the best quality/price ration product I have ever acquired. I use it to record at home (via PC, Yamaha AG06 in Reaper) and it produces great sound. I also use it for rehearsals at my place and singers love it. It is versatile and sturdy but I prefer not to use it for gigs (for that I use M1S and Shure SM58).

Disclaimer: This is my first microphone purchase. Everything was packaged so well. This came out of the box, assembled easily, simple attachment to the boom arm, connected to my ID24 and started working with Logic Pro. This mic picks up the smallest sounds (rustling of clothes, tapping noises from downstairs, the dog walking across the room).
