I ordered a 1 meter and a 1,5 meter pro snake. The one meter cable was like the picture illustrated, with black yongsheng connectors.
But the 1,5 meter pro snake had different XLR connectors. It has seetronics "neutrik" look-alike connectors. (Metallic with plastic ring that you can twist behind the connector just like neutrik) . Which I thought was odd.
The black yongsheng connectors are ok for the price you pay but the seetronics are a step up. Compared to the real neutrik cables I already own they seem to be pretty close to comparable build-quality wise. The release button on the female seetronic feels better and firmer than the yongsheng and the rubber ring is thicker. Overall it just feels more expensive.
With that said, the yongsheng connectors work very well and I can't really find anything bad to say about them besides that the release button feels a bit flimsy, but only compared to the seetronics.
For what reason they're different I have no idea but I'm happy with my purchase.
