We all hate/love the 3,5mm plug standard. Mostly dislike, actually. This connector makes life easier. As all Neutriks, the strain relief is good, it solders well, but here we're not treated to an abundance of wiggle room inside, and thicker cables are out of the question. I've had good results from lubricating cable that is really on the limit of what can fit before trying to insert it in the backshell. The threads also do well with some lube, just a little bit. I've used special conduit lubricant, but others would work too, as long as they don't destroy the cable.
