MXR M288 Bass Octave Deluxe

The changes that this pedal makes to the sound isn't super noticable, and if you want different sounds for your plain bass, this won't cut it. It is an octave pedal, so that's not what it should do anyways.

This is however a great octave pedal, allthough I do not own any other so take it with a grain of salt. But personally I like to pair this with some sort of overdrive, since it can produce pretty good, rough sounds even with my fender amp's own overdrive too. There are only three knobs, two of which are not the original sound. The growl and the girth really completes the sounds when you use it right. The passthrough is great also.

For the price, it may not seem as much since you can get much cheaper pedals that do other stuff, but personally this was money well spent.

Nicely built too, and the blue finish is neat. The lights are perfectly bright, so that won't bug you I think. It's just, a good pedal.
