Moog DFAM

Well, it's DFAM, you probably know what it is if you're looking at it.

The sound quality produced by it is simply fantastic, and it's capable of doing so much. I use it to create one-shots for my kicks, snares and some weird noise, rich textured sounds, love it actually.

Downsides? Well, no proper tempo selection and it's a pain in the ass to sync it with anything. It is by no means a replacement for a drum machine, it's a very decent drum synth, but if you're looking for something "let me quickly make another nice techno beat" - this is NOT your choice

At first sight the Moog DFAM might seem a little overwhelming and, paradoxically, limiting at the same time. But after messing around with it for a little bit you will discover that’s just not true. Its actually quite intuitive and any limitations , for the most part, rather encourages creativity than stands in the way for it. The DFAM for me is a musical partner and as with any instrument, the music is already there, you just have to follow where it leads. On the downside, the knobs for the sequencer is a bit small and some times it's frustrating to be locked in 8 steps (although you can patch around it). But over al it’s grate and I’m still giving it 5 stars! And of course it has that great analog Moog sound.
