Clean, crisp bright sound. Very light. Easy setup and transport. Strong. Can come loose now and again.

I use this to attach to my hi-hat stand and it sits very well without getting in the way. Great for percussive and accenting, and sounds great live and in studio. The fastener can come loose now and again but tightens back up very quick. Cuts through when it's needed and overall has a bright jingle sound. I use many types of sticks and rods on this, and although there are slight bends, it has remained strong and reliable throughout. Sounds much better with hot-rods.
This is a nice hi hat tambourine for the money. It is well built, no plastic, although I would imagine hitting it with a stick would cause it to break. My main issue is that the bells on it are not loud enough. You have to really stomp on the hi hat pedal before getting a decent sound, and if you have large hi hats then they will drown it out. But it is still good for the money.
I saw this tambourine being used by Chris "Daddy" Dave and that alone was reason enough to buy it and use it religiously. The sound is extremely versatile in tone, volume, and use. I really don't need to go into much more detail other than Chris Dave using them... Amazing product for hip-hop, fusion, funk, and any other type of music.
This was something I had always wanted, but never actually got around to buying it. One day I just thought 'what the hell, go for it!' I'm happy I did! I have found these will also fit over your standard cowbell stand as well, so that's some added functionality for you! As for sound, It sounded exactly the way I expected, and it's from Meinl, so you know you can trust it to last!
This tambourine is great for both being attached to hi-hat stand pull rod or just laying on the hi-hat cymbal directly. When used on pull rod while playing with leg it cuts through the whole drum set sound yet it isn't too loud and blends in nicely. When resting on hi-hats it makes up for an interesting sound as well. It isn't meant to be played with sticks though.
The frame is sturdy, and the screw holds it tight to the hihat rod. The sound of the tambourine brings a nice little extra flavour to a footworked hihat.
Regarding of what i've seen from photos i was expecting a very flimsy construction, but i was wrong, it's actually really well constructed, nice materials, not flimsy at all..and looks great!
The only downside is that it doesn't shake along with the hat chick, unless playing an extremely hard chick..
But as a beat-up tambourine works well, the sound itself it's to brittle to me, i kinda prefer brass jingles instead of stainless steal ones, but for the price, i'm not disappointed at all!!
It looks like Bonham's. It sounds like Bonham's. It feels like Bonham's but alas, I regret, I do not play like Bonham. This tambourine helps me to pretend I do play like him though. Get it. Get the: ch, ch, ch, ch, ch. ch, ch, ch, ch, ch, ch. It's your left foot's best friend.
