First of all bass looks great and color is very nice, but be aware that neck colors can vary from light to dark. While I am on the neck I must say it's above it's price range and plays like butter. There are few high frets on mine (rocker rocks minimally so not that high, but it rocks) that may get a bit in the way if playing with pretty low action, but as I'm not heavy handed they don't bother me much as I rarely hear buzz. They were also a bit oxidised but nothing a polish can't solve (it's normal for Nickel Silver to oxidise, but just noting). Moving on to tuners they do great job but they are a bit heavy, if you want you can replace with Gotoh GB528 that solves problem according to reviews, but I didn't do it yet. Everything else was great, QC is good, setup was pretty good and I didn't find any problems with finish or anything else (except those few high frets). Only thing I can say is bad are knobs. I ditched then immediately and bought Goldos which are similar and feel a bit less rough and of better quality. To sum everything up I think V5 is a great purchase and one of best basses you can get in this price range and maybe even best out of jazz basses...in the price range of course :)
