I use this to toggle "mute" on a Korg PitchBlack Pro rackmount tuner. For this it is exceptional and works like a charm.
Summary:
Cheap, but sturdy metal footswitch. Short cable and no built-in "activated" indicator (i.e. LED).
Pros and cons:
+ Cheap, but does not feel cheap when handled.
+ Relatively sturdy metal case, as opposed to plastic.
+ A nice "clicky" feel when activated, you really can feel when you press the button. RECOMMENDED; use shoes when using this, as a heavy stomp could be rather painful! Also gives out a nice "click" when pressed, which lets you know you have pressed it. This will, obviously, be drowned if used live, but in a smaller room you can hear it very well.
- Rather short cable (~3.5 m), but for what I use it for that is not an issue (as I will not be very far away from the tuner when tuning).
- No indicator, like on more expensive alternatives, but again, for me that is not an issue.
~ The rubber feet attached have not failed me yet and it does not slide anywhere, unless i kick it somewhere. That, of course, depends on the friction between pedal and surface. HOWEVER; as it is rather light, I suppose it easily could slide around if used often (several times during a single song).
