Solid strap, just didn't fit me

Either the carbine mount on my alto sax (TAS-150) is too high or my neck is too long, I just can't get into a comfortable posture with this thing.
Build quality is fine, although the carbine is plastic it doesn't feel flimsy, strong tension in the spring. Super easy to adjust, the padding on the neck is nice too, but I need to tighten this thing almost all the way to get the mouthpiece level so the strap starts to feel constricting.

Neck strap is really something you have to try before you buy, or order a few and return those that didn't cut it.

Does what it is supposed to do, in a sense. Although if you play mostly at a standing position (with an alto saxophone or heavier) you will soon have a sore neck. So if you mostly stand up I suggest a strap hinged on your shoulders.

Low price, high comfort and great quality

As always with Thomanns own branded products. Same as thing as the other stuff, but better price.

Great comfort for the neck and still small enough to not look like a boy-scout while wearing it.

I use it for both Tenor and Alto sax and it works perfect on both. No slip down, no cutting in the neck or anything.

The down side is that you forget to take it off and end up going to bed, still wearing the strap.

You can't argue with the cost. A padded leather strap for this price? Best deal ever! Easy to adjust with one hand. The hook is made from plastic (looks like glass fiber reinforced plastic) will not dig into the metal when supporting the weight so you can keep the shiny new look of the instrument for longer. The highly contrasting logo in the leather might be a source of distraction though. Would've loved for Thomann to have designed their logo embossed instead of painted on. Would look more professional and premium.
