This tele with its double bound body looks beautiful. The body is a bit thinner and the body edges are not contoured.

Neck, frets, intonation, everything absolutely great.

The bridge pickup is nearer to the saddles and hence the bridge pickup is a bit sharper, but you can dampen it with the tone control. The pots are right-handed pots reverse wired for lefty turn, so no real functional sweep on them. Either resolder righty or buy true lefty pots.

Generally a bit thinner sounding tele, but overall, a no brainer as regards value for money, absolute steal for the money.

Fast shipping to the US once I decided this was the one I wanted. Great customer service on my order. Box was opened somewhere in it's travels, but inner boxes were fine.
Wow, so nice looking and solid. I'm guessing 7.5-8.0lb range weight, which is fine by me.

Color and binding all look amazing. Neck is so nice and feels "close" to my MIM Strat neck in thickness. The strings that came on it feel fresh to me ,so I'm gonna play those for a while. Might switch to 9.5s when I change them.
Frets seem good to me, just a few slightly sharp ends, which I will smooth out myself. Pretty good as is.
The tone and volume knobs seem fine to me and the pickup selector feels solid. The tuners, as others have mentioned, are a bit stiff, but work just fine.

I Really like the sounds, especially the middle position. Neck is bright but sounds good rolled down to dark.
Bridge is loud and bright, but can be tamed with volume or tone and handles the higher gain well. All good stuff

No need to upgrade anything, but will probably do some minor fret-end filing and maybe switch the tone wires to right handed to see if they are more dynamic. But am super happy with it as it.

I'd wanted a double bound blue sparkle telecaster since I was a kid, having first seen one in the hands of Don Rich playing on the Buck Owens Ranch show.

But given that I'm left-handed, such things were not for me. Until Harley Benton came along! This guitar is beautiful, plays just right, has an exceptionally well-cut nut, and beautiful maple neck. I'll probably change the neck out eventually, but only because I'm a sucker for stainless frets, and it turns out there's a small army of luthiers on ebay in China making fender necks for cheap. Lack of stainless frets is my only minor issue with this axe. Otherwise, it's beautiful and perfect, and I'm deeply grateful to Harley Benton for making it.

But all things being relatively, for the price of my TE62 I could give it no less, from overall quality of the fit and finish to the set up was as good as anything I’ve bought. But my big surprise was the sound!, so much Leo F. Mojo in this guitar , that I won’t change anything!! No understand I’ve been playing for more than 50 years, and I tweak all my guitars out of necessity (because I play w my guitars strung right handed) and I did that and installed a new bone nut , actually slammed the action w/o it fretting out anywhere, oiled the fretboard polished the frets . I do this for every guitar I’ve ever owned, but usually , since I buy mostly (low end ) guitars I will change out all the electronics (pickups, pots wiring) and go w 50’s/60’s spec . I don’t want to change anything on this guitar that might alter the sound !! So yes , I’m going w 5 stars! Thankyou! When it comes to setup and playability straight from the box this 160€ guitar puts 5x more expensive Fender Telecaster Player series to shame. My Fender Telecaster came with uneven frets, sharp fret edges, bad intonation, loose input jack... I had to spend over 100€ to get it in proper playable state.

On the other hand this guitar came with almost perfect intonation, no buzzing frets or too sharp fret edges. The string height is a little bit too high but that is easy to adjust. Also fretboard can use some oil immediately. The build quality is nice, lovely color and finish.

I haven't tested the sound yet, but judging from all the demos on YouTube it should sound great.

For the price, this is a steal...
