Harley Benton Enhanced MP-5EB Creme

Since Im a guitar player I just wanted a bass to fiddle around with at home and after some research on the interweb I found this bass.

Overall this is great buy for anyone, though it needed some setting up to be this great.

Pros:
- Looks great
- Sounds great (playing through a fender rumble 100 at home)
- Good tuning stability
- Good quality materials (from what I can see)

Cons:
- A bit heavy, but I quess a 5string bass is heavy.
- Needed set up to play good.

When I got the bass the action was really high AND there was some serious fret-buzz on the first few frets (weird). Since the bridge saddles were allready as low as they could on the first and fifth strings I had to unscrew the neck and place a shim in the neck pocket. I had to do this a few times to get the neck angle were I wanted it.
After some adjustments of the string relief and bridge saddles(2nd-4th strings) the bass now plays absolutely amazingly.

I would recommend this bass to anyone.
If its poorly set up when you receive it, just let someone capable set it up and you will have a great playing instrument.
