Harley Benton Parts Pickguard HSS 3-ply Mint

Mint green Fender pickguards are actually a modern invention. It was the old 50's white ones that over time adapted a greenish tint due to the material deteriorating.

They look really smart on a vintage style strat, but imo only Fender themselves (and a few other specialists) get the tint right. This one looks more like the colour of certain juices that your stomach produces on a sunday morning. Like most of the 3:rd party mint green ones does.

The price is right and the quality is as good as any. Just choose a white or parchment tinted one instead.

There's another thing to consider when purchasing a SSH strat pickguard. The route for the 'bucker is 5 mm nearer to the bridge on the most common ones than on the original Fender guard for the American Deluxe Strat HSS. That affects the top end a lot!
