I ordered this part to fit on my 95' Gibson Les Paul Classic in order to replace my frail "1960" pickguard. The part doesn't really fit.

I will have to shave off some of the pickguard material on the bottom side of the neck pickup cover in order for the hole to be aligned with the previous one. I have no intention of drilling a new hole in my guitar body just to incorporate an after market piece of plastic.

To be fair, I know Gibson has produced and sold probably millions of guitars by now, and not all parts can fit every guitar. That being said I will have to do some adjustments to this pickguard and then it will do the job, so I give it an "okay review.

Got this to replace the pickguard on my 60's LP unburst, thinking it was similar (off white) as there was no 'white' option.

The pickguard is in fact (as the name implies) a very heavy cream colour. although the image on the website is misleading as it makes it look a lot whiter than the actual product. .

Other than that - if you are in the market for a cream yellow pickguard this one is the genuine part and will work great.

Quality replacement pickguard

I ordered this item to replace the cracked pickguard on my 1995 Gibson Les Paul Standard. It's exactly the same as the original item supplied with the guitar. It comes with two mounting screws but no bracket - so don't mislay your original one! I'd recommend this item for those who want their instrument to retain it's originality and maintain the quality feel they're used to.

Perfect fit for my Gibson

I bought a Gibson Les Paul second hand. The previous owner preferred his Les Paul without the pickguard, but unfortunately lost it prior to the sale.

This pickguard was the perfect size with notches cut out in exactly the right place for the pickups.

It’s a durable pickguard and I’ve never had any worries about it snapping.

As I already told for other Gibson's original parts (Gibson PRPR-015, Gibson PRPR-025, Gibson PRMK-030), it fits perfectly and it is made in a good quality, even you wanna give to your guitar a nice touch or if you need a replacement this is the right product for you!
