Fender Pre-Wired ST Pickguard Texas

I own a 1996 American standard Stratocaster since it was new. I have always wanted it to sound more like Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar but never succeeded completely, trying various effect pedals and amplifiers. I bought this set and it was pretty easy to install if you have some experience with repairing guitars. The problem I experienced was that the 2nd and 4th positions of the pickup selector seemed to be wrongly wired. The pickups were wired in a way that they worked out of phase.
Thomann offered me to send it back but I rewired it myself and now I am very satisfied.
It is a five star product, but I keep one star and put it on my own wall just because I needed to re-solder the wiring and figure out how to do that ;-)
