A hot pickup with a strong tone

Compared to the original pickups in my old Epiphone Studio, these pickups are a significant improvement. They offer great detail, dynamics, and clarity, which the original ones lacked. In my opinion, they are a bit too hot, so I couldn't give them a maximum score. However, this is entirely subjective and shouldn't discourage you if you like the sound samples. Just keep in mind that if you prefer a more classic sound, like the PAF, these pickups might be too hot for your liking.

The installation manual is very helpful, so if you have experience with soldering, installing them shouldn't be an issue.

I think they are well worth the price, and if you plan on upgrading from cheaper original pickups, I don't think you will be disappointed!

Very versatile

Will definitely be my go-to neck pickup for years to come. Very rich clean sounds and very smooth high gain lead sounds. Balanced frequency response.
